The Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) was founded in 2006 by Kenyans committed to promoting democracy, social justice, and good governance. Our vision is to eliminate entrenched socio-economic inequalities, corruption, and negative ethnicity while fostering national unity and development. Dedicated to ensuring transparent, accountable, and people-centered leadership, WDM champions equitable resource distribution, grassroots development, and policies that uplift marginalized communities.
Wiper Democratic Movement upholds the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and the rule of law, conducting free, fair, and transparent elections within the party while promoting leadership based on integrity, competence, and inclusivity. We advocate for policies that drive economic growth, youth empowerment, gender equality, and peaceful coexistence among all communities. Our guiding principles include strengthening democracy by encouraging citizen participation in governance, ensuring ethical leadership at all levels, promoting fairness in resource distribution, maintaining accountability in all party affairs, and giving a voice to all Kenyans, including women, youth, and marginalized groups. Our core values—democracy, integrity, equity, transparency, and inclusivity—serve as the foundation for all our actions and policies. We believe in building a united, prosperous, and just Kenya where all citizens have equal opportunities to succeed. WDM invites all Kenyans to join the movement and be part of shaping the nation’s future through ethical leadership and progressive governance.
